POSITIVE PARENTING PROGRAM (TRIPLE-P) UNTUK MENURUNKAN PENGASUHAN DISFUNGSIONAL PADA IBU DENGAN ANAK BERPERILAKU DISRUPTIF

Dysfunctional parenting is characterized as a parent who is not involved in the child's life, limiting and giving a verbal or physical punishment, and tends to nag in response to the wrong child's behavior. Dysfunctional parenting can have an impact on a variety of child behavior problems, one of which is disruptive behavior. This disruptive behavior can be overcome by reduce the dysfunctional parenting done by parents using Positive Parenting Program (Triple-P) as an intervention method. The subjects consisted of eight mothers who had children with disruptive behavior, each divided into control and experimental groups. The research design used a quasi experiment with non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design, while the subject selection used the method convenience sampling. The instrument used in this study was Dysfunctional Parenting Scale by Subekti (2010). The results showed a significant decrease in dysfunctional parenting score, as indicated by Wilcoxon test results with a large p value < 0.005 (p = 0.034)
