The trend of workforce in Malaysia shows that more than 60% of the working women are married. Hence we can foresee that there will be a major impact on future working culture as more women enter the workforce. This trend can interfere negatively with home life in three distinct ways that is time, health, and psychological spillover. The most well documented pressures family members experience in balancing work and family are work overload and conflict due to multiple roles. Hence this paper will discuss the findings based on an exploratory study done among 1006 working women.
