A survey in two specified hospital clinics The Dutch health care system is a demand-driven care system since 2006. Patients are supposed to actively deal with public information about the quality of a hospital and make their own choice for a hospital. In this study we analyze how patients actually choose a hospital and which factors are related to their choice behavior. A survey among 400 patients was carried out; the dependent variable has been described as choice behavior. The response rate is 95% (n=380).
