Add to ORKGSTEP Category: Service-Learning and Community ServiceI traveled to Ho, Ghana for a service-learning trip. I participated in the children's education program where I was placed in a first-grade classroom. I helped implement their English and Math curricula and gave individual attention to students who needed it. I was also able to learn about the culture of the community I was in through trips to local merchants, native dance and drumming lessons, talking with the people in the neighborhood, and so much more.
