Hunting for improved energy storage devices based on rechargeable Li-ion batteries and other advanced rechargeable batteries is one of the hottest topics in today’s society. Both Li- ion batteries and Li-O₂ batteries have been studied within the thesis. The research work of this thesis contains two different parts. Part 1.
