Theme: This workshop calls educational developers to seek meaningful, contextualised evaluation data for the lecturer development programmes they run. It considers published attempts to evaluate LDPs, and outlines the evaluation processes put in place for research-informed evaluation activities in one institution. The main argument is that developers should frame evaluations within their own contexts, without seeking the general truths which comprehensive evaluations tend to address. In promoting a dialogue about how to fill the evaluation gap, the workshop should be of interest to all educational developers who are seeking meaningful evaluation outcomes.CAPpub876pu
