This study explored the issues of infertility and its treatment in south Asian culture, and the ongoing disputes that have been linked to treatments of infertility. The aims of the research were to explore south Asian men and women’s perspectives of infertility and health, and attempted to identify and explore any cultural and religious implications that may have influenced opinions and options about infertility treatments.
