The aims of this work are to build circuits with lumped impédance éléments representing the electricai behaviour of magnetic components from DC up to several MHz, and to understand the internai working of thèse components in order to deduce technological improvements. Initially, this study dealt with transformers used in static converters of several hundred Watts working at several hundred kiloHertz, but the scope of the methods used is such that the validity of results goes well beyond this initial framework.Macroscopic studies are developed whatever the winding number is for the three basic physical aspects: magnetic coupling, electric coupling, losses.
