Human aging is characterized by a decrease in both efficiency and speed of cognitive and sensory-motor processes. However, the dynamic of ageing is not the same for all the individuals. Some factors, linked to the way of life such as regular physical exercise, could modulate the aging effects. The aim of this dissertation is to examine under which conditions maintaining a physically active life-style could compensate for the age-related declines in the learning of a new motor-skill.
