MasterThis thesis presents an integrated circuit system for smart contact lens. The system is composed of coils for wireless power transfer, a glucose sensor, a drug delivery system and an integrated circuit (IC) chip for managing the smart lens. The implemented IC chip in 180nm CMOS demonstrates successful receiving of power through a magnetic-resonance-based wireless transfer. The glucose sensor’s output is measured by the IC chip with a 15b current-to-digital converter block. For wireless telemetry, the converted data is transmitted through a 433.8 MHz ISM band and displayed on a monitor with a real-time graph
