The Republic of Kazakhstan within two decades of its independence became one of the largest economies and significant players in Central Asia. Due to the country’s importance, this research paper aims to securitize the economic and financial development of Kazakhstan, specifically exploring the banking sector of the republic. The paper will inspect the current health of the Kazakh banks, identify obstacles which are slowing down the progress of the banking sector and investigate future development prospects of the country.BSc/BABusiness Administration and Managemen
