Add to ORKGThe purpose of this Bachelor’s thesis was to analyze the feasibility of using a heat pump to solve a problem of waste heat recovery in the industrial sector. Furthermore, the aim of the thesis was to provide the case company with practical instructions for checking the suitability of a heat pump at the early stages of any project. For achieving the aim, the research included an investigation of the theoretical background of the topic, as well as two case studies. Additionally, invaluable information was given by experts familiar both with the topic, the study, and the case studies.
