How Wärtsilä developed the installation and Commissioning management plan : the case of emergency diesel generator power replacement project for Olkiluoto nuclear power plant

This thesis work is mainly focusing on describing the processes and activities involved in installation and commissioning phases on a nuclear emergency diesel power project delivered by Wärtsilä to Olkiluoto nuclear power plant. The installation and commissioning management plan was created utilizing the methods and processes described in this thesis work. In this case study, series of iteration and review cycles have been made resulting to a functioning guiding document for the project execution. In this thesis, the writer also assed what was learned during the management plan development project.Tämä opinnäytetyö keskittyy pääasiassa kuvamaan asennus- ja käyttöönottovaiheiden aktiviteettien ja prosessien hallintaa Wärtsilän toimittamassa diesel-varavoimalaitosprojektissa Olkiluodon ydinvoimalaitokseen. Asennuksen ja käyttöönoton hallinnointi suunnitelma syntyi hyödyntämällä tässä lopputyössä kuvattuja menetelmiä ja prosesseja. Tässä tapaustutkimuksessa, iteroinnin ja arviointikierrosten toteuttamisen jälkeen, on kehitetty toimiva ohjaava dokumentti projektin toteutukselle.
