In July 2016, the EU Electromagnetic Field Directive (Direktiv2013/35/EU, 2013) entered into force. Previous studies have shown that the action and limit values in the Directive can not be met when working with magnetic resonance imaging. This study aimed to measure the exposure to electromagnetic fields within a group of radiographers employed at two hospitals in Denmark and identify factors that influences the level of exposure. The results were compared to the action and limit values in the EU Directive. A cross-sectional study design was used and the data collection was two-folded.
