Throughout the existence of United States Politics, women have be historically discriminated against in the representation in politics. Women hold the population majority, yet they are drastic minorities in United States officeholding. There is hope for women as the rise of Hillary Clinton and company may lead to a positive trend in women’s officeholding if she is able to be come the next President of the United States
