During the last decades, employee engagement has gained a significant position in the business world due to its notable role in the overall success of a business. Organizations have started to invest more resources in its development and given it high priority as employee engagement has been proven to strongly influence organizational performance in terms of productivity, profitability, customer loyalty, safety and employee retention.
