The purpose of this thesis is to plan and develop a nature-based product, which is a half-day tour to the Nuuksio National Park, targeted to foreign visitors. The aim is to create such product that would both fit the commissioner’s range of products and correspond customer demand. The tour is not implemented during this process, as the decision of it is left for the commissioner, Strömma Finland Oy Ab. This product-based thesis consists of two main parts: the theoretical framework, and the planning and development process of the tour. The theoretical framework focuses on ex-plaining the concepts of nature-based tourism and product development, as well as the Nuuksio national park.
