Anotações sobre a filosofia da psicologia em Ludwig Wittgenstein

Grounded on the writings on the philosophy of psychology written by Wittgenstein at the end of the 40s, the central goal of this research will be the analysis of how Wittgenstein understands the significance of psychological concepts as well as their relationships with other problems related to them. In the first part of the research, it will be preliminary weighted the concepts on which the philosopher relies to conduct his consideration of the philosophy of psychology. The attention given to these concepts is justified according as, without them, the understanding of how Wittgenstein treats these issues in his writings on the philosophy of psychology would be jeopardized. Once highlighted the notions surrounding the writings on the philosophy of psychology, then it will be evaluated the criticism made by Wittgenstein to the traditional notion of meaning by introspection. Once realized the research on introspection as a way of meaning for psychological terms, then this opens up scope for understanding Wittgensteins critique of introspection model of meaning and then to study the solution given by the philosopher to the problem of the meaning of mental terms. In the second part of this work, it will be analyzed how Wittgenstein proposes connecting the psychological terms with the perception. This will present the criticism of Wittgensteins conception of the mind as private background that proposes that only the individual who feels a certain sense has access to the supposed private object in which the concept of sensation would be referenced. Once punctuated Wittgensteins criticism on mind as private mental scene, then it breaks into another problem connected intimately with two distinct psychological concepts, i.e., the question of noting an aspect (seeing a aspect), which has its foundation on a grammatical confusion regarding the concepts of seeing [sehen] and interpreting. This problem makes possible to understand how certain problems related to mental are actually grammatical confusions arising from the misuse of psychological terms, especially when they are commanding for a one-sided understanding of language. Briefly, after having seen some of the main points related to Wittgensteins writings on the philosophy of psychology, they will be made final considerations that take into account how the philosopher sees the relationship between mind and language with respect to psychological concepts. It will be highlighted the central appointments made in the research and, after that, it will be analyzed how such considerations can be used to evaluate a new treatment for traditional philosophical problems, namely a treatment given by the analysis of languageFundamentada nos escritos sobre a filosofia da psicologia, redigidos por Wittgenstein ao final da década de 40, o objetivo central desta pesquisa constituirá na análise do modo como Wittgenstein entende a significação dos conceitos psicológicos, bem como a relação desses com outros problemas a eles relacionados. Na primeira parte da pesquisa, serão ponderados preliminarmente os conceitos nos quais o filósofo se baseia para realizar suas considerações sobre a filosofia da psicologia. A atenção dada a esses conceitos se justifica na medida em que, sem os mesmos, o entendimento do modo como Wittgenstein trata as questões presentes em seus escritos sobre a filosofia da psicologia estaria comprometido. Uma vez destacadas as noções que circundam os escritos sobre a filosofia da psicologia de Wittgenstein, será avaliada então a crítica afirmada por ele à noção tradicional de significação por introspecção. Feito isso, abre-se então margem para o entendimento da posição de Wittgenstein em relação a tal modelo e, em seguida, para o estudo da solução dada pelo filósofo ao problema da significação dos termos mentais. Na segunda parte da pesquisa, será analisada a maneira como Wittgenstein propõe a ligação dos termos psicológicos com a experiência sensível. Para isso, será apresentada a crítica de Wittgenstein à concepção de mente enquanto cenário privado , concepção esta que propõe que apenas o indivíduo que sente uma determinada sensação tem acesso ao suposto objeto privado da experiência no qual o conceito da sensação estaria referenciado. Pontuada a crítica de Wittgenstein à mente enquanto cenário mental privado, no que se refere à significação dos termos psicológicos, parte-se então para outro problema ligado intimamente com dois conceitos psicológicos distintos, a saber, a questão do notar um aspecto (revelação do aspecto), questão essa que possui em seu fundamento uma confusão gramatical concernente aos conceitos de ver e interpretar . Esse problema, presente em destaque nos escritos sobre a filosofia da psicologia de Wittgenstein, torna possível perceber como certos problemas referentes ao mental são, na verdade, confusões gramaticais oriundas do uso equivocado dos termos psicológicos, principalmente quando estes estão estabelecidos por uma compreensão unilateral da linguagem. Em resumo, após se ter considerado alguns dos principais pontos referentes aos escritos de Wittgenstein sobre a filosofia da psicologia, irão ser feitas considerações finais que levarão em conta o modo como o filósofo vê a relação entre mente e linguagem no que tange aos conceitos psicológicos. Serão ressaltados os principais apontamentos realizados na pesquisa e, após isso, será avaliado o modo como tais considerações serviram para indicar uma nova proposta de tratamento para problemas filosóficos tradicionais, a saber, um tratamento dado pela análise da linguage
