In the last decades, Peru has gone through several economic states which have led to the development of Social and Solidarity initiatives. This work aims at determining how the different concepts of Social Economy are acknowledged in the Peruvian Society and in the Academic Sphere. Four different concepts of Social Economy are studied: the Social Economy approach, the Non-Profit Organization approach, the Solidarity Economy approach and the concept of Social Enterprise.
