This thesis focuses on political tools in the French-speaking Belgium educational system. These tools are conceptualized as techniques inducing potentially a government of the secondary school landscape. This interpretation is confronted with the interpretations and uses of those tools by secondary school teachers and principals. The thesis thus combines political reading of the instrument rationality with organizational approaches of their implementation for understanding if and how those tools participate to restructure the identity of schools and their functioning.(PSYE - Sciences psychologiques et de l'éducation) -- UCL, 201
