Tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea Schreb.) is a widely used cool-season turfgrass, and its growth is mainly limited by water deficit. Abscisic acid (ABA) and brassinolide (BR) are two important stress hormones regulating plant physiological processes and growth under water deficit.
