Se presentan los resultados de un estudio gravimétrico realizado en la región de la cuenca sedimentaria de General Levalle, Provincia de Córdoba, Argentina. Mediante la inversión de datos gravimétricos se obtuvo la geometría del basamento de la región donde se encuentra la cuenca y la superficie de la interfase corteza-manto. Esta última resultó ser una superficie de pendiente suave que se profundiza hacia el oeste. El hecho de que la interfase corteza-manto sea casi plana indica que la columna de sedimentos no tiene una antirraíz que la compense isostáticamente.
