The aim of this publication is to represent the work exhibited in the exhibition of the same name held at the SIA Gallery at Sheffield Hallam University in July 2016 and also to extend the discourse of both exhibition and related conference through a considered, selection and presentation of imagery revealing a range of contemporary responses to the northern landscape and its representation through photography.
