Prostate biopsy throughout the history considered as a safe diagnostic tool and a minimally invasive method to detect prostate cancer. Considering this in mind, not enough studies were conducted regarding the prostate biopsy's complications, especially the erectile dysfunction, ejaculatory problems and general well-being. The objective of this study is to evaluate those complications and their severity, by reviewing the most informative and updated literature. The general findings showed that temporary erectile dysfunction isn't a rare complication. Regarding ejaculatory problems, most men undergoing prostate biopsy who are able to ejaculate, will experience hematospermia, which may be associated with anxiety and impact on their sexual...
