Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD); a chronic progressive illness characterised by dysregulation of the immune response. Various drugs are used in the management of IBD but research continues to favor the biological agents such as the anti-tumor necrosis factor α (anti-TNF-α) agents, these drugs continually gain popularity in the management of IBD. This thesis takes into consideration the pathophysiology and clinical features of IBD and highlights the use of biological agents as treatment options.egységes, osztatlanáltalános orvosango
