This thesis consists of various topics like general ideas and theories about the act of remembering, the difference between history and facts; the trauma and various symptoms of PTSD soldiers such as nightmares, hallucinations, mustism and stammering, and the healing process of them on the basis of comparing different treatments in the Regeneration Trilogy. Furthermore, I will focus on the “regenerated” soldiers’ lives after leaving Craiglockhart War Hospital and Billy Prior’s double sidedness, paranoiac life and his recurrence after his “healing” process.MSc/MAAnglisztikaB
