Churchill's Role in British Diplomacy between 1940 and 1955

The subject matter of my thesis is Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill’s political activities in the period of the late thirties and early fifties. I found this topic worth pursuing because this period (and Churchill as a charismatic leader) beyond doubt determined and shaped the following decades of British history.
