Doktori munkám során vízoldható szulfoalkil- és szulfoaril- imidazólium sókat állítottam elő három módszerrel: kondenzációs reakcióval, imidazol és származékai N-alkilezésével, illetve kidolgoztam egy egyszerű és gyors eljárást imidazólium- és imidazolinium sók óleummal történő direkt szulfonálására. Vízoldható Au(I)-N-heterociklusos mono-karbén komplexeket állítottam elő Ag(I)-N-heterociklusos bisz-karbén komplexekből kiindulva, karbénátadási reakcióval. Az előállított arany(I)-NHC mono-karbén komplexek katalitikus tulajdonságait alkinek vízaddíciós reakciójában vizsgáltam. Az arany(I)-NHC mono-karbén komplexek mind alifás, mind aromás terminális alkinek esetén katalitikusan aktívnak bizonyultak vizes-metanolos, illetve csak vizes közegben...
