RESUMEN El presente trabajo se centra en uno de los principales temas que más debate ha generado en el ámbito de la educación en los últimos años, como es la evaluación del profesorado de enseñanzas no universitarias. La evaluación no es un concepto unívoco, sino que tiene diferentes concepciones y puede llevarse a término desde diferentes perspectivas y con objetivos muy distintos. Uno de los modelos más extendidos es la evaluación por resultados, promovido además por organizaciones como la OCDE, y empleado en países de nuestro entorno como Reino Unido.
