Tourisme et littoral: intérêts et limites d'une mise en relation

By analyzing the relationship between tourism and coastline, we want to understand the process by which a place becomes a tourist attractions. The idea is not to demonstrate that a coastline becomes an attraction because the coastline would necessarily imply tourism. Rather, we want to present another way of understanding the "tourisming" process of such places by enlightening the historical and social dimensions of the practices developed on the coastline. We find that these tourist practices contributed to the creation of spatial tourist forms with boiled down specificity
