RESUMEN : La cirugía del cáncer de recto es un tema controvertido en relación a la mejor vía de abordaje quirúrgico. Los resultados publicados sobre cirugía transanal, demuestran tanto sus posibilidades como su seguridad técnica. El presente estudio basado en un diseño prospectivo, realiza un análisis comparativo de pacientes intervenidos mediante abordaje laparoscópico asistido por robot y cirugía transanal asistida por robot en el Servicio de Cirugía General del Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecilla durante el periodo 2011-2017.
