This study is the second output of a research project commissioned by five UK-based international humanitarian non-government organisations (INGOs) - ActionAid, CAFOD, Christian Aid, Oxfam GB and Tearfund. The report builds on findings from the 2013 report and provides evidence to demonstrate the extent to which partnership working took place in response to typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, and its effectiveness. The report details identified challenges and recommends actions to strengthen national and international humanitarian system partnerships, both in the Philippines, and more broadly during future humanitarian responses.The project is part of an ongoing effort to build the future of humanitarian assistance.The research process invol...
