In this note, the performance of the reconstruction of charged particle tracks in the CMS High Level Trigger in 2018 is described. Tracking efficiency and fake rate are measured in simulated top-pair production events. The tracking performance obtained on simulation modelling both the state of the CMS pixel detector in June 2018 and a perfect pixel detector are compared
