The paper describes the procedure of the vehicle yaw moment of inertia determination. The effect of the oscillation period measurement error onto total measurement error is analysed. The measurement stand for moment of inertia measurement based on physical pendulum principle is designed. The measurement system for the stand oscillation measurement is built. The computational procedure for the accurate oscillation period determination is built in the Labview software.
