The aim of this research are to study the content of briquettes of straw with variation of binder when tested proximate, to know mass density and specific gravity, and to know the calorific value contained in briquettes. The main ingredients in this research are straw with mesh size 20. The binding materials used are coconut shell tar, starch, and oil. The weight of the briquette with the binder mixture is 120 grams.
