Hubungan Antara Dukungan Sosial Dan Burnout Pada Perawat Rumah Sakit Jiwa

Burnout is a exhaustion syndrome, both physically, emotionally and mentally caused by overwork. This exhaustion happens slowly over a long period of time One of the factors of burnout is social support. Burnout will arise if social support in the nurse's environment is low. This study aims to: 1) View the relationship between burnout with social support, 2) View the level of burnout on the nurse, 3) View the social support level of the nurse, 4) View the effective contribution of social support against burnout. The researcher involved 100 nurses at the Mental Hospital. In this study, researchers used burnout scales and social support as a tool to measure burnout variables, and social support variables. Data analysis method used is non-paramateric. The results show that: 1) There is a very significant negative relationship between burnout with social support, 2) nurse burnout level Mental hospital is low, 3) Nursing social support level Mental hospital is high, 4) Social support variable give effective contribution of 25.5 on burnout
