Platinum derivatives and one among them, cisplatin, exhibited promising results when locally administered into the brain of glioblastoma bearing rats. Nanovectorization of anticancer agents through polymeric nanoparticles may even promote drug accumulation within cells, thus concen- trating the drug efficiently at its target.
