The Impact of 'Shared Value' on the Participation of Business in the Public educational services

This paper intends to clarify the impact of ‘Shared Value' on the participation of Business in the public educational services. Since the 1980' s, the participation of business in the public educational service has been diversified and increased. These participation has been conducted in the core services of public education as business, and in the not-core services as nonbusiness. This difference is happen because there is a mindset among educational administrative organization that business shouldn' t do business in the public educational services. The concept of ‘Shared Value' defines that the aim of business is to maximize both economic value and social value, as it defines ‘market' which is consists of societal needs and economic needs. To create ‘Shared value' , communication with stakeholder, educational administrative organization in the case of public education, is important, because it weakens the mindset of educational administrative organization. The concept of ‘Shared value' enhances the business participation in the core service of the public educational services. On the other hand, current activities which haven' t produced economic value may be canceled. ‘Shared value' has the impact of changing domains which business participation is conducted in the public educational services
