<p>Poster presented at ASLO 2015 (Granada, Spain). It communicates data about enzymatic extracellular activities in the global ocean obtained in the Malaspina 2010 Circumnavegation Expedition.</p> <p>The objectives of the work were to identify biogeographical patterns of distribution of leucine-aminopeptidase, alkaline phosphatase, b-glucosidase and chitinase extracellular activities in the global ocean, and to gain knowledge about the high potential EEA in the deep global ocean.</p> <p>The results indicate different biogeographical patterns of extracellular enzyme activity and discrete hot-spots of surface activity in the global ocean.
