<p>Temperature affects many aspects of termite colonies, including survivorship, caste differentiation and food consumption. So, studying thermoregulatory processes may provide insights into ecological issues such as energy turnover, and may be useful in understanding ecosystem functioning in scenarios of environmental changes. We measured temperatures of a colony of \textit{Nasutitermes ephratae} in a patch of Atlantic Rainforest at the city of João Pessoa, Paraiba state, Brazil during a 24-hour period, with 2-hour intervals.
