<p>In a map with a certain path of interest highlighted for analysis, a compartment is collapsed to reduce complexity (A), the same map after the collapsed compartment is expanded but messed up layout is not adjusted (B), the same map after the collapsed compartment is expanded and layout is re-calculated from scratch; this moves the path of interest to a completely different part of the map, confusing the user (C).
