Experimentation and modelling of human-structure interaction for vertical vibration were conducted. HSI existence and its effect were identified. A moving spring-mass-damper model was calibrated and validated against the experimental data to account for HSI effects. An analytical equivalent moving force model was also validated for use in professional engineering practice
