<p>The study population were young women aged 15–19 included in nationally representative Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) Household and AIDS indicator surveys (AIS) carried out in the years indicated in the x-axis labels, for whom HIV test results and data on current education were available. The graph shows the percentage of the study population in each country who had attended school in the year in which the survey was conducted. Data were weighted to account for individual sampling probabilities.</p
