The aim of this study is to report findings on the relationship of communication technology as a channel for interaction among employees which was conducted in an IT department of a multinational organization located in Malaysia. The paper examines the most used and preferred communication channel by the employee in their organization. Further, to identify if there is a relationship between the preferred communication channel and their perception towards media richness. A total of one hundred and one employees participated in the survey.
