<p>Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) has been applied to help decision-makers understand quantitative environmental effects and impacts through the life stages of a product or process. Matrix-based LCA models are widely incorporated to LCA software tools to simplify the assessment and provide straightforward results. However, these tools do not sufficiently provide the uncertainties that arise from the inventory data as well as from the matrix-based models.
