Analysis of livers and spleens of mice after vaccination with a DNA+MVA vaccine regimen.

<p>Groups of mice were infected with 30–35 Sm cercariae. Some groups were treated twice with PZQ after 8.5 weeks post infection. Vaccination with a DNA+MVA vaccine regimen was performed as shown in <a href="http://www.plospathogens.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.ppat.1007182#ppat.1007182.t001" target="_blank">Table 1</a>. Spleens and livers were harvested 12 days after last vaccination, weighed and prepared for various analyses.
