<p>The figure shows the geometric mean and geometric SD of the expression of 6 out of 23 immune related genes studied by quantitative real time PCR and analyzed by the 2<sup>−ΔΔCT</sup> method [<a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0200016#pone.0200016.ref019" target="_blank">19</a>]. Only statistically significant results p<0.5 (Student’s t-test) are shown. The folds (2<sup>−ΔΔCT</sup>) below 1 appear as fractions (e.g. 1/8 indicating 8 fold down regulation).
