<p>Β-galactosidase (β-Gal) activity expressed from the <i>nuoA</i> promoter <i>lacZ</i> reporter constructs was measured in <i>P</i>. <i>putida</i> wild-type strain PSm and RpoS-deficient strain PSm ΔrpoS grown in LB medium 4 or 18 hours.
