<p>We use the colour blue for the shy condition and orange for the bold condition. a) The mean proportion (± SE) of sheltered cockroaches every 10 minutes in both shelters for the shy and bold conditions. The theoretical proportions of total aggregated cockroaches (with 95% CI) obtained with <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0201053#pone.0201053.e001" target="_blank">Eq 1</a> was fitted for the shy (R² = 0.83) and bold (R² = 0.71) conditions. b) We represent in dots the mean proportion (± SE) of individuals in the selected shelter and in squares the proportion of cockroaches in the unselected shelter.
