E-Maintenance : Opportunities and Challenges

E-maintenance offers various opportunities as well as challenges in contemporary business undergoing transformation. This paper provides an overview of opportunities and challenges in different areas related to e-maintenance. Literature review and empirical findings through action oriented research give way to identify and present these opportunities and challenges. One contribution of the paper is, it finds the opportunities and challenges with e-maintenance in different industries which creates a pathway for future direction in further studies regarding e-maintenance.
